Castle Garden Restoration | Dialogue Between Heritage and Design
Garden AS
This castle garden was restored with great care, respecting its rich history while addressing contemporary needs. Old structures and new interventions flow subtly into one another, without compromising the soul of the place. The result is a garden that preserves the grandeur of the past while opening space for a fresh future — a harmonious dialogue between heritage and design.
Reclaiming Elegance
Respecting History
Once overgrown and forgotten, this castle garden was transformed into a serene, timeless space. Carefully selected heritage trees, sweeping lines, and romantic sightlines restore the grandeur of the estate. A central water feature and lush borders breathe new life into its historical heart, without losing its soul.
a classical masterpiece
Gentle structure and bold vision bring this estate back to life. A central pond, layered planting, and softened edges frame the architecture while honouring the past in every line.
Where history lingers and nature leads,
design becomes memory in motion
Rooted in Time
Preserving the Giants of the Past
One of the cornerstones of this project was the respectful preservation of the estate’s botanical heritage.
Among the most treasured elements is a majestic 200-year-old mulberry tree, now thriving thanks to expert irrigation and care.
Surrounding it, mature oaks, elms, and beeches were carefully selected and integrated into the renewed garden composition. These monumental trees form a living framework—anchoring the landscape in its historical context while offering structure, rhythm, and a deeply rooted sense of continuity.
